Le Digger RTP: 96.26% and the Other Returns the Slot Prints

In short: Le Digger is a Hacksaw Gaming cluster slot that returns 96.26% to the player in the studio's own demo, and every bonus route its rules list stays within a tenth of a point of that figure.

The rules screen prints 96.26%, worked out over ten billion simulated rounds, and the studio's demo serves no other build. Three lower builds circulate in catalogues. Below is what each figure costs a stake, and what our own 100 rounds can and cannot add.

RTP as published:
96.26%, printed by the game's own rules screen and returned by its game server.
Max win:

Note: In the studio's demo you get the 96.26% build, so the house keeps 3.74% of everything staked: €7.48 on every €200.00, over a very long run. The list sets out each return the rules print, three catalogue builds and the one figure we measured ourselves, from strongest evidence to weakest.

Ordered by the weight of the evidence: first what the game prints, then each way into a bonus, then builds only catalogues mention, and last our own 100 rounds.

Where Le Digger's 96.26% Comes From

Le Digger's 96.26% comes from the game itself. The rules screen prints it under the paytable. The game server sends the same number in its own data for the build we played, client 1.33.0.

The rules add one sentence of method: the figure "was calculated by simulating 10,000,000,000 rounds".

Ten billion rounds is a horizon, not a session. Over it the house keeps 3.74% of every stake, which comes to €0.0748 on each €2.00 round at the default bet. Across a session the size of ours, that is €7.48. Le Digger returns 96.26% to the player with 3 of 5 volatility on the studio's own scale, the middle step of five.

Which RTP the Demo Serves

The studio's public demo serves one build, 96.26%. We asked its game server for each of the other models, and every request came back as an error. Under every jurisdiction code the demo server accepted on , it returned the same 96.26 build.

That makes the demo a practical first stop. It costs nothing, runs on play money and plays the top build.

Three Lower Builds, Unconfirmed

Catalogues list three more builds: 94.29%, 92.32% and 86.21%. We tried to load each one through the demo server and got an error every time, and none appears on any screen of the client we played.

So on our side they remain claims, numbers with no game behind them that we could load, check or play through even once. If the lowest one runs anywhere, the gap is wide. A build at 86.21% keeps €13.79 of every €100.00, which is 3.69 times the edge of the build the rules print. Over our €200.00 session, the expected loss would rise from €7.48 to €27.58.

RTP per Way into a Bonus

Each way into a Le Digger bonus returns between 96.21% and 96.33%, and the rules print a separate figure for every route. Across twelve figures the gap is 0.12 points. That is the whole spread. Each route is split again by what the player does at the Bonus Gamble, so most rows carry three numbers.

Dig It bought€500.0096.33%96.23%no second Gamble

Catalogues split on exactly this line. SlotCatalog quotes the "never gambling" column, OLBG the "gambling" one. Each is half right, because the client prints both, and we quote it whole.

We do not recommend a bought Dig It as a way to buy a better return. Its 96.33% sits 0.07 points above the base game: €0.35 on a €500.00 purchase that costs 250 times the bet. Over the long run that buy is expected to hand back €481.65. Ours handed back €288.80 the time we played it out.

The Gamble Moves It 0.10 Points at Most

The Bonus Gamble moves the return by a tenth of a point at most, and how far depends on the route. For a bonus won in the base game the shift is 0.02 points: 96.26% never gambling, 96.28% gambling once, 96.27% gambling twice. Bought bonuses move further. A bought Tomb Service falls from 96.30% to 96.22% when gambling twice, 0.08 points, and a bought Dig It from 96.33% to 96.23% when gambling once, 0.10 points, or €0.50 on a €500.00 purchase. The Gamble changes how lumpy the result is far more than it changes the long-run take.

Tomb Service Gamble board: four equal tiles, no odds

Equal tiles, unequal odds.

What the screen hides is the shape of that lump. The Tomb Service board shows four tiles of one size. The game server, though, weights the upgrade to Dig It at 28.775% and the bronze prize at 22.6%, where equal tiles would suggest 25% each. The client's own terms allow this, saying a drawn device "does not represent a 'real' physical device", so the odds live in the server data alone. Our two tries both paid cash. A €160.00 Tomb Service turned into a silver 10x, €20.00; a €500.00 Dig It became a gold 30x, €60.00.

Le Digger's Hit Rate Is Not Published

Le Digger's hit rate is unpublished. The game server sends hitFrequency as 0, a placeholder, and the rules print no figure at all. Catalogues quote 36.4%, with no source we could trace.

The ceiling's odds are missing too. The rules set the max win at 15,000x the bet, "achievable in all game modes". The server's oddsOfMaxWin reads "0", a blank rather than a probability.

Our 100 Rounds at €2.00

On 2 November we played 100 rounds at €2.00 in the studio's demo and logged every one from the game server's replies. We got €197.60 back on €200.00 staked: a 98.8% return, a loss of €2.40 where the model expects €7.48. That 2.54-point gap is luck, plain and simple. A hundred rounds say nothing about a figure computed on ten billion.

Limits of the 96.26% Figure

The 96.26% figure is a long-run average for one build, and it leaves four things unsaid.

Reading the RTP Line Yourself

You can read the RTP line yourself inside the game: open the menu, choose GAME INFO and scroll to SYMBOL PAYOUTS. The 96.26% sits in the sentence under the paytable; the buy returns follow further down, under BONUS BUY. Check it after each update, since the line belongs to the build you are playing. In the French client the same screen is headed « INFOS JEU ».
